ONEHUNGA POLICE COURTThis Day.
(Before Dr.W. R. Ersoti, J.P.) Destitute.—Henry Zieglerwas charged with having no visible means of support. The accused was found last night by Constable Hazlett, lying in an old outhouse of Mr Trollop's, Norman's Hill. He had for some time previous been lying in a cave at Mount Smart, but the recent heavy rains flooding him out, he was compelled, he stated, to take shelter where he could. He"had obtained'permission to sleep in the house. He'was a "painter and ni^n writer by trade,' but could not get work. The Bench considering "that it was not probable that lie wouid be received into the Jtefugc, sentenced him to one month's imprisonment.
