INQUEST ON SAMUEL SWITZER.
An inquest is proceeding as we go to press, upon the body of the man Samuel Switzer, who was found drowned in the harbour on Saturday morning. Dr. Philson officiated as coroner, Detective Tuohy appeared on behalf of the police. Sergeant Lyons, and Constable Mackie of the water police were also present. The enquiry took place in Gleeson's Hotel near the Freezing Companys works. He gave information to the police and helped to secure the body.
