Evening Stab. Office, this day. Mr G. W. BetnjsyJ submitted for sale this morning, at his auction mart, Fort-street, 190 cases of Hobart apples. There was a good attendance. The prices realised were as follows: French Crabs,-7s to 9s per case ; Stone Pippins, 8s to 9s ; Stunner Pippin, 6s 9d ; Crow's Eggs, 4s 6d ; Scarlet Pearmain, 6s; and Russets, 5s 9d per case. Messrs Cochrane and Son sold at 12 o'clock to-day, by order of the Supreme Court, Lot 138, subdivision of lots 14 and 17,.Section 8, Ponsonby, having a frontage of 47 feet to London-street, with a fiveroomed cottage erected;therein r The price realised was £260. The : Auckland Grocers', Association quotes the wholesale price of fresh butter at 10d per lb, delivery, and fresh eggs-at Is 6d per dozen, for the week ending July 7. The above quotations refer to prime quality only.
