Several Thousand Men Out of Employment
At a meeting of the Workingmen's party, held at Brussells, ifc was resolved to hold daily demonstrations in favour of universal suffrage and the granting of amnesty to persons now imprisoned for participation in the riots of ISBG. Work in the Bounag district, Hamult, is completely suspended on account of the great strike. The strikers number 18,000. The strike has extended to the Seraing district. The authorities arc taking every precaution against possible disturbance.
