POLICE COURT.

Drunkenness. —Mario Price, William Wilson, Donald McKennon, Matthew Leonard, Michael Tierncy, George Ry.in, and James McLaughlan were each fined 5s and costs for drunkenness.
Alleged Larceny. —Harry Hines was charged with the larceny of 391b of tobacco, of tho valuo of £10, the property of George Williamson, afc Auckland, on June 20.— Defendant assured the Bench that he knew nothing of the charge,—Sergeant Pratt said that the stolen property had been found in tho prisoner's possession, but as he was not prepared to go on with tho case to-day he would apply for a remand until Thursday. —This was granted. Alleged Assault. — Charles Bishop, charged with assaulting J. Corn, was remanded until Thursday.
