MONDAY MORNING.

Conferonco commenced its sittings at 10. A portion of Scripture having been road, the Rev. Mr Murray led in prayer. The record of Friday's sossions was received. It was agreod that the arrangements for Homo Mission deputation for the different distiicto of the Colony should bo left for the different chairmen to brine up suggestions at a lator stage.

Auckland District.

Wesley Collec;k Balance sheet. Tho balance-sheet, in the absence of «ho Treasurer, Mr R. Hobb?, M.H.R, was reid by Ksv. R, Bavin, and duly passed. -Tho Native and Destitute Children's Mueation Iraat balance-sheet was read by Hie Key. R Bavin iv the ab3Bnce of Mr , ,"?' Tlea9ureri and passed. Tho Goneral Oonnexional Mission Proporty Trust balance-sheet waa also read by the Rev. 11. Bavin iv tho absence of Mr Edson. Treasurer, and passed.

Grey Institute Trust.—The hal-ince-sheet was road by J. Q. Georgo, Esq., of Now Plymouth, and adopted Kai Iwi Trust.— Mr AY. Tim ley read the balance-eheot, and it was adopted on his motion.

Koid briefly acknowledged tho vo'.o. Tho Kov. H. Bull moved that the thanks of tho Conforenco be presented to Dr. Kidil for his valuable services as classical and mathematical tutor. The Kovs. S. Lawry and J. T. Pinfold, as former students under Dr. Kidd, heartily supported the proposition, and regret was expressed that Dr. Kidd should havo resigned his position. Tho proposition was heartily carried.—The Kov. 11. R. Dewsbury moved, " That certain gentlemen bo appointed with tho Auckland ministers as a committee for tbo onsuing year as the Exeoutivo Committee." On the motion of the Roy. G. T. Pinfold, tho name of Mr McDowell, 8.A., was addod to the Committee. On the motion of tho Roy. E Best, tho hearty thanks of tho Conference were given to the Roy. R. iJavin, T. G. Carr and C. H. Garland for thoir excellent services during tho past year as lecturers to tho European students. — Tho Roy. J. A. H, Bull expressed a pimilar opinion, becauso of the eminent and valuablo services rendered by Mr Morley.—Mr SnodKnicP, Breaking on behalf of tho Nolson district, was afraid that on account of tbo financial strain upon them they would net bo able to do as much as they would dcsiio.—Mr Wood considered that it would bo a capital opportunity for this Conference to show ils appreciation of Mr Moiloy'9 valued services. The Revs. Law, Marei, Oukca, Baumber, Crump, Tinsley und Messrs Lawry, Uetherington, George and Simon took part, and on being put to tho motion it was pasted with acclamation. Tho Conference then adjourned until 2.30.
