The County Courcil have under consideration the proposal to bring into the present wator-raco the waters of tho Mungarehu Creek, a branch of the Kaueranga River. The engineer reports that it would be necessary to construct a branch race about 05 chains in length, which could give eight sluice heads of water in ordinal y winter weather, and two sluice heads in summer. The coat of the work is estimated at £1,500.
