Warlike Maori Demonstrations.
TIIKRE are materials /or a pretty little Maori fight noar Waotu just now, owing to a froeh development of tho tiibal dispute between tho Ngatihaua anil Ngatiraukawa tribos in that vicinity as to tho ownership of a section of tho Maunjratautari block. Tho caeo was dealt with at tho la=t Cambridge Court, when the Ngntihaua received tho award. Tho Ngatiraukawa have nince tho judgment of tho Court i-quatted on the land, anil at present under Hare Teimana (Harry Symons) nro entrenching themcolves in a pa with the objtct of standing a tiogo Ehould eucli bs decided upon by tho Ngatihaua. The latter having roceived the judgment of tho Court, aro naturally anxious to get possoifion of their land, and occnpionilly mike warlike demonstrations by firing gun?;, performing war dances, etc , in view of tiio men in possession. Thoro is a possibility of thoes Jianii'uvocs ondintr in bloodthcd.
