'Lite; papers'by- the S.s. Botomahhna today stato that Zeno has been backed in Melbourne for the Caulfield Cup to win about £20,000, and that tho Hon. J. White's Hexham is doing splendid work. Advices from Melbourne say that Meteor has thrown off all signs of the injuries he was supposed to have met with in the Welter Handicap at ltandwick, and wellinformed people are inclinod to fancy greatly his chance for the Melbourne Cup,
