SYDNEY, this day. The man now in custody has admitted that he is Cafl'rey.
The vessel was allow.d to go ashore in order to get rid of it, in thb bolief that all trace of it would thus be destroyed.
Tlic name had beon painted over to pievent identification soon aftor leaving Auckland:
Cafl'rey will be formally charged with the murder and remanded until the arrival of a police officer froih

The police have not yet got on the track of Perm, but thoy now possess clues which they believe will euablu them to run him down.
