MR GLADSTONE ON HOME RULE.
Cowardly Outrago at Cork.
London, October 5.
Mr Gladstone, in receiving a deputation from Cork offering him tho freedom of that city, declared that he continued iv public lifo in order to sottlo the quostion of Home Rulo for Ireland. That cause, he averred, would ultimately triumph. He hopod that this would como to pass shortly. A gang of raiders shot two daughters of a farmer in County Cork for refusing to £ivo thorn arms which woro in the farmhouse.
