New Zealand Radical Reform League.
This Association met in full force last night at tho Excelsior Hall, Nowton. Mr J. K. McDonald, of Boglan, was called to the chair. Twolvo now names wore added to tho roll. A letter was received from Mr Moss, M.H.R., thanking the League for their recognition of his efforts on behalf of the unemployed, and suggesting that thoy should advocato the adoption of an economic system of local government. This idea waß heartily approved of, and notice was given to discuss that question at their next meeting. Tho following resolutions were then carried unanimously :— " That since, thtougb the failure of the industrial classes to avail themtelves fully of their constitutional privileges they are now inadequately represented in Parliament, this League take prompt measures to remedy that evil." "That this League earnestly appeals to the industrial classes throughout the colony to registor thoir claims to vote without further delay, that they may not bo cyphers at the approaching elections." " That a telogram be forwarded to the Premier, the Hon. Sir Robert Stout, requesting him to kindly inform us whether any land has been lately purchased at Devonport by the Government from either Messrs Watson or Holdship, and if so for what amount." All quostions brought forward wero discussed with much animation and spirit, and the good foeling manifested throughout showed that members wore determined to work cheerfully and harmoniously together in the advocacy of thoir principles. Before dispersing it was docided to hold a special meeting on Wednesday, tho 20th inst.
