The Company have obtained from Mesßrs Niccol and Son,who are taking considerable interest in the new venture, part of thelrshlpnnlldlng yard, giving the Compan>'s premises a frontage of IOOf t to the harbour. A patent slio has been laid down, and there is an ergino for use in any necessary hauling work. A wharf has been run out so as to give 4ft of water at the lowest tides, and on the wharf there Is a capaciou? shed. The shed in the meantime will be used tor the storing of the parts ot the new steamers as they are brought ft om the Merope in barges. Captain J.
