Thames, this day. Saxon.-Colours of gold are occasionally seen in the stopes on tho footwall leader, and a little picked stone is sometimes obtained. The Hill-ward drive is being continued to pick up the reef, but the ground continues broken. New Manokau.—A payable crushing of dirt is being obtained from the stopes on the main and branch leader, at No. 3 level. Public interest is just now centred in the crosscut at No. 4 level, which is being put in for tho purposo of cutting the Waiotahi No. 3 reef, which yielded so well at No. 3 level when worked by the Waiotahi Company, An excellent channel of sandstone is being penetrated, and the reef will probably be to hand within a fortnight.
