Wet.i.in.-iton, thi3 day. A eoftui.si'ONDENT of tho "Evening Press," writing from Derby on the 2Sth uH., does not givo a very hopeful account of the Kimbcrley goldfield. According to information furnished him by tie £ ur.erintendent of Police, there were about fifty men <._ (ho hold, all of whom wore Rotting gold their daily returns ranging from sdwts to Hozs. Provision* are reported as being scanty, and horses could not bo procured. Two animals, which would have brought £10 in Wellington, wore sold for £100 each. Somo of the Triumph's paseongerg did not land, and others would havo returned if they could. They have disposed of their goods at reasonable rates, but the place was already overstocked. On tho whole, the writer doe 3 not adviso anyone to go from Now Zealand to KimbOrley at tho present time.
