The schooner Fanny Thornton has been purchased by Nr Noble, and is shortly to leave port jn charge of Captain Cannichael. The s.s. Clansman arrived from Wellington, Napier, Gisborne, and Tuparoa at 7 p.m. yesterday. Passengere: Mrs Clark, Captain Johnson, Messrs Campney, Milner. and five steerage. Tho s.s. Wellington arrived from Tauranga this morning with tho following passengers ;— Messrs. Moss, Fraser, Elliott, McGill, Maberly and sons (2), Boyd, Hooker, and Commins; Mesdatneß Clark and Patterson, and 2 steerage. The schooner Energy is to leave for Hokianga direct on Tuesday next.
