SAD OCCURRENCE.
Two Children Poisoned by Tuta Berries.
Information was received to-day by Inspector Keily of a cad poisoning cose at Mercury Bay. Two children of Robert Henderson, of tbatplace, managed to get hold of a quantity of tutu berries while they were playing about outside the house, andjoatthorn unobserved. The children were taken violently ill, and although remedies were applied, the eldest of the two, who was five years of age, died. The other, who is only three years of age, is in a precarious state. Constable Walker has arranged for an inquent to be held on the deceased child to-morrow afternoon.
