GRAND LODGE OF GOOD TEMPLARS.

Ashburton, this day. Yesterday morning the Grand Lodge of 1.0.G.T. opened in the Orange Hall. Bro. Harding, W.C.T., presided. The following representatives were present: —Carr, Dunedin ; Diiivery, Eyre, Wanganui; MeNeill, Vincent, Watson, Selwyn - street, Invercargill; McLaughlan, Port Chalmers ; Potts, Hokitika; Bennett, Wellington; Sherwood, Blonheim; Pitcairn, Nelson; Evans, Rangiora; Coke, Ashburton; Young, Christchurch. M. W. Green and J. W, Nago Davis were also present. Mr Thos. S. Capper, from England, was introduced, took the chair by request, and conducted tho business of the forenoon session. The Lodge was engaged in discussing the report of the G.W.C.T., which was mostly adopted, two clauses being postponed.
