The sale of the barque Mathieu took place today, at tho roonia of Messrs E. and A. Isaacp, und realisod £70, The cargojof timber brought <!i?n. There was a good attendance of nautical men.
Jlr George Sibwn was announced to-day to sell, by order of the mortgagee, 27 acros of land situated at the Wade. Tho ruortgugor satisfied tho claim of the mortgagee and tbe land did not go to the hammor. Me3Bis B. Tonks ai d Cr. sold tho Tukapuna raoe privileges to day, as under:—Gates. £117, purchaser, Mrs Robertson; grand staod and refreshment booth, £510s, Mrs Long; Nog land 2 refreshment booths, £510s each, Mrs Corbett
