THE RELIGIOUS FRENZY AT PORT ALBERT.
Continuance of the Excitement.
(B7 TELEGRAPH.—OWN CORRESPONDENT.)
Port Albert, this day. Contrary to expectation, ths Auckland people who are attending" the " Holiness Camp Meeting" did not go home by steamer, and the sad scenes here are expected to go on for another week. There are six Aucklanders, including some young people, who show all the Bymptoms of religious mania, and refuse to leave the tent until they get "a call from the Lord" to do so. The father of one of them is, I hear, on his way up here to try what effect his authority will have. Though the signs of mental aberration are unabated, there have been no fresh demonstrations worth recording. It is earnestly hoped the "Camp"will soonbe ) broken up.
