CHANGES ON UNION COMPANY'S STEAMERS.

DaNECiN, this day. The following changes have been made on tho Union Company's steamers:—Captain Anderson has been promoted to tho flanroto; Captain Neville to tho Rotorua ; Captain Allman to. the Penguin; Captain Smith to the Omapero; Mr Russell, chief officer of tho Manapouri, to tho Wanaka; Mr Holmes, chief officer of tho Omapero, to tho Taiaroa. Mr Thomson, chief officer of the Wakatipu, takes command during Captain Wheeler's retirement, while ill.
