ARRIVAL OF THE OAMARU.

• The ship Oamaru arrived from London early on Sunday morning, the passage having occupied 95 days. The Oamarn is a large Iron vessel of 1,306 tons, under tho Shaw. SoviUe, and Albion Company's flag, and Is in charge of Capt Maxwell. The chief officer is Mr Beard, and the second officer is Mr Little. She brings only part cargo for this port, the balance being for the BIuJF. The Oamaru brings 60 passengers, all in goodhealth. ThevesselwasvisitedbytheHealth Officer yesterday, and passed. The Oamaru left London on the 19th August, and Start Point on the 23rd, Light N.E. winds, with exceptionally fine weather from that out, prsvailed to latitude 12dog. N. A continuance ot southerly winds forced the vessel over to the Brazilian coast, within about 100 miles from Pernambuno. The Equator was crossod on the 17th of September in long. 26 W.,and the S.K. trades wora picked up in lac 3deg. S. The trades proved fresh, and carried the vessel to la *. 30deg. 8., -when they wore succeeded by fresh westerly winds, which lasted for two days, during which some little better progress was made on her onward course.'
