London, Novembor 18.—At a meeting of Torlos yesterday, resolutions were passed agrcoing to a compromise on the franchise question.
In tho House of Lords last night the Franchise BUI was read a second time without division, and their Lordships then adjourned until to-day. Tho "Standard " states that Mr Gladstone has givon a written pledge to introduce tho He-distribution Bill immediately and unconditionally. In consequence of that the Lords havo decided to proceed with the Franchise Bill.
