DOCKING THE TRIUMPH.
At half-past six this morning tho steamer Triumph, in charge of Captain Fisher, Deputy Harbour-master, and in tow of the steamers Rotomahana, Victoria, and Annie Milbank, loft the Railway Wharf to be docked. Sho was thon drawing 12ft. Sin. forward, and Il*ft. lOin. aft. Everything wont well until tho Triumph was fairly'pointed for the dock oil' Queen-street Wharf, when tho l-otoniahana'.s propeller struck » rope fender, and every blado was knocked oil. Tho Rotomahana wont into Freeman's Bay for repairs, and the Victoria and Annie Milbank continued towing. The Triumph, however, took tlio ground about half-way between tlio end of tho wharf and tho dock, and sho had to be loft there. Tho falling of tho tide of course prevented any further oll'ort to movo hor to-day. Her propellor, however, was removed, and she will bo taken alongside of the dock this evening. It is very doubtful, however, if she will bo docked, the tides at presont being very bad. At high water to-day, for instance, thero was only 12ft. Sin. of water on tho sill, while the Triumph \ias drawing 12ft. lOin.
