New Prince Imperial. —About lSlbs. of specimens were secured yesterday afternoon in tho leading stopo nt No. 0 level, Hand or Frirndsiiip.—Driving was commenced on Monday upon No. 2 and Mariner's lode at No. 4 level of tho Imperial shaft.
. MoANATAißT.—Christie, tributer, crushed 5J tons for 25 ozs. Catron's crushing of 9 loads yielded 26 ozs.
Alhorn-ia.—Dabb, tributer, crushed 14 loads, nnd obtained 43 oz.<i; 10'dwts. gold. Moan ataiari.-A successful trial of pumping machinery was made this afternoon, and by means of 8-inch singlo lift pumps reduced tho wator SO feet within 3 hours. Tho plant will be taken over by tho engineer after working 48 hours. Instructions have been received to prepare for the commencement of operations underground at an'early date,
Caledonian Low Level.—The prospecting tunnel at the (34Q feet level is 545 feet in length, and is still advancing through splendid country.
Dart. —McCurdy, tributer, banked 2ozs, 9dwts. gold.
The manager of the Success G.M. Company reports .thftt the reef in stopes is improving, and small solid dabs of gold have been met with in the face. Tho reef south of level has shown colours of gold in prodl pecting. : • '
