W. A'. Stevens v. H. Cowper, claim £34 10s., judgment summons. Defendant did not appear. Ordered to pay the amount claimed by instalments of £.'. per month, or in default one month's imprisonment in Dunedin gaol. Alfred Sturges v. William Quail rough, claim £-17 (is. "d., promissory note. Judgment was given for plaintiff for the full amount,, with costs, £4 lis., the defendant not appearing.
T. T. Masetield v. Mariner, Queen of England, Deep Level Cross, and London G.M. Co.'s, claim £07 2s. (id., goods. Mr. Campbell for plaintiff. Judgment was given for plaintiff, with costs, ")*. Oil.
J. R. Randcrson v. John and Edward Leydon, claim ii'.Vl Ills damages. Mr Beale for plaintiff, and Mr Cooper For defendants. Judgment, which is published elsewhere, was for plaintiff, with £4 Ills costs.
Robert S. Barlow v. J. R. Jackson and George Codlin, claim ..120, money lent, &c. Mr Dufauv for plaintiff, and Mr Brookiield fur defendant. Judgment was given for plaintiff .for the full amount, with costs, £6 Ills.
A number of cases were confessed, settled and adjourned.
