ALARMING ACCIDENT AT MANAWATU GORGE.
Woodville, this day. A serious accidont occurred last night. A pair of horses bolted with a brake at Woodvjlle, and at tho Manawatu Ciorge, the brake, with fivo occupants, was thrown over tho cliffs into the rivor-bod. Two of tho ladies wore injured, but the rest escaped almost unhurt. Of the injured, and wife of Rev. J. Worboys ,is in a critical state from internal injurios, and Mrs Lawrio had her foot orushed.
