STRANGE DISCOVERY.
A workman while engaged in removal of tho Shamrock H t 1 at the o rner of Albert and Wellosley-streota this afternoon, made a strange discovery, news of which has
given rise to the most frightful rumours. On the ground between two chin.nays he found a large quantity of human hair which evidently onco adorned tho head of a female, and also a quantity of bones lied up in an old rug. Tho rag was rotten go that the things hud probably been there fjr several yoars. Tho bi nu.s are believed liy some to be tho*e of a human being, but some which were shewn to our reporter did not bear out thia statement. The bones and hair have been placed in the hands of the police for further investigation.
