FIRES IN THE SOUTH.

UfiKisTcircßcir, Tuesday. j This afternoon a fire occurred in Barbadoesstreet, Korth Bay, by which three wooden buildings were destroyed. They were: A shop, belonging to Mr Christie, confectioner, and occupied by Mr Stewart, storekeeper,— the building was insured for £190; a sixroomed house, owned by Mrs Raphael, and occupied by Mr Hill, general dealer, —the house was insured for £150 in the Liverpool, London, and Globe, and Hill's stock for £100 (it was valued at £400); a two-roomed oottage, owned by Mrs Hobbs, and occupied by Mrs Johnson.
This rooming Mr Hankm s store and bakery at 'Woolstou were burned clown. Reported to be insured for £300 in the South British.
Oa-UARU, Tuesday
A house anil stable (the property of a cab proprietor named Greenfield) were burnt down ;it eight o'clock this morning. The property was insured for £210 in the North Britisli Office. The occupants of the house were away at the time, and the tire is supposed to have been caused by some persons who had been sleeping in the stable.
