ARRIVAL OF THE WAITAKI.

Tho s.s. Waitoki, which has been purchased by tho Kunio Coal Company, arrived from Timaru at 7 a.m. to-day. She was detained at Tlmaru from Saturday till 5.40 a.m. on Monday, owing to heavy weather. For the first two days strong S.E. winds prevailed, and during tho rest of tho voyage light westerly winds, with heavy seas, were experienced. The Waitaki takes up the trade between this port and Whnngarel noxt week, Captain Crawford having command. Several changes arc to bo nmdo in the officers and crow.
