Outwards Coastwise. — Simderland. for Tryphena; Rata, for Waiaia; Ghost, for Matakana; South Carolina, for Barrier.

The brigantino Magellan Cloud proceeds from this port to Suva in charge of Captain Hastings.

Tho barquo Ant ires was berthed at Queenstreet Wharf this afternoon. She will commenoe discharging to-morrow.

Tho following vessels cleared outward at the Customs to-day; Otaki, ship, for London; Ganymede, barque, for Timaru, in ballast, to load for London ; and Bannockburn, for Suva, via Talrua.

The F.s. Macgregor arrived from Whan-garelat3.3oa.rn.to-day. Passcngors: MraHurvid and daughter, Keight, Babe, Coutts, Potrio, Scutch, Misses Bassett, Jones, Bell, McKonzio (2), Messrs Cordon. Blaney, Wolf, Allaway, Doonin, Harp, Devlin, Cossar, Marsdon, W. A. Ellis. Harrop, Farthing, and six steorago. Cargo—37 sheep, 50 sacks gum, 3 bales wool, 1 bundles sheepskins, 40 boxes cgts, 14 kegs butter, 1 crate fowls, 10 tons sundries. Tho following notice to mariners has been issued:—" A light at Waipapa Point will bo exhibited on and after the Ist of January. Tho light will bo second order, flashing white. Tho light will be visible all round seaward, and will show a flash every tan seconds. The light is elevated 70 feet abovo tho sea, and allowing 150 feet for tho height of tho eye, will be seen at a distance of about 13} nautical miles in clear wßitlier, and at losser distances according to the state of tho atmosphere."
