NATIVE DISPUTE AT WAOTU.
Threatened Disturbance,

Cambbidob, this day. Tub native diihculty between Harry Symonds and the followers of Ngatihuri and Whatuaio.of Ngatingarongo, at Waotu, threatens to be somowhat serious before settled. What—aio is at present squatted on tho land, and refuses to leave until a re-hearing of tho case regarding tho block under dispute is granted. Your correspondent, with Messrs Moon and Blake, proceeded to the scene of disturbance on Saturday, and these gontlemen succeeded in effecting a settlement; but after leaving Harry Symonds, received a letter from the obstructionists to the effect that thoy would not leave tho land, but continuo their obstruction. It is expected that writs of ejectment will bo issued by Symonds against them. Symonds's followers of tho Ngatihuri expected to return from Rotorua •shortly, when ho belioves they will forcibly eject tho intruders, and a serious " row " is sure to ensuo.
