MORE NATIVE OBSTRUCTION.
Murlmotu Survoy Stopped,
[BY TULEGKATU— PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Wancanlt, this day. News has arrived in town this morning that tho survey party under Mr J. A. Thorpe, engaged on the survey of a subdivision of theMurimotu block, were stopped by nativesunder.-ichief named AropctaHiwetuterangi. When they came back to whero their tent was left on Friday morning they found everything gone, tent and all, and, on search being made, it was found that they had been taken by the above-named Chief, who refused to give up possession unless the survey is abandoned. Mr Thorpe has sent a messenger done to apply to Government for assistance, and application will also bo made to the police. No violence is reported.
