SCHOONER JOSEPHINE MISSING.
The Auckland schooner Josephine left Foxton for Sydney on May 16, with a full cargo of timber, in charge of Captain Pullman, aud has not since been heard of. _ It is feared she may have been lost during one of the recent heavy gales. Mrs Pullman, wife of the master, iodides in Auckland The Josephine is a fore-and-aft schooner of 66 tons register, built in Auckland in 1875, and well known at this port. She is owned by Messrs Wylds and Freeman, oi Palmetston North, who purchased her from Mr Malcolm Niccol, of Auckland, very recently. '
. An excellent wax figure of Roderick McLean, who attempted to .assassinate the Queen recently, has been added "to Mr Kobler'a collection.'
