New Egyptian Ministry,

The new Egyptian Ministry consists of Cherifi Pasha, Premier and Minister of Fereign -a flairs ; rtiaz Pasha, Minister of the Interior; and Oimar Pasha, Minister of War. The remaining members of the Government are new untried men, who have never held auy political position. The Captured Chief of Staff. Mahmourad Feliway, chief of Arabi's Btaff, who was captured at Kassassur, states that there are very few earth works at Telelkibir. LOHDON, August 28. Engineering Operatioas in Egypt. The whole of tbe work in connection with tbeiepairing of the Suee-Ismailia railway la now completed. It is intended to overflow Lake Mareotis, or Marria, a salt lake situated In the north of Egypt, extending southward from the city of Alexandria, and separated from the Mediterranean Sea on the north-west side by a narrow isthmus of sand. The pgs'ttge by which the sea found its way into this lake was opened by the Eng'i-h during the war between England and France in 1801, but was subsequently closed by Mehemet Ali, and since tben it has been a mere marsh. The dimensions of the lake are about 27 milos long and 25 miles broad.
