FATAL ACCIDENT.

CHRISTCHURCH, this day.
William Carr, stonemason, was working this morning on tbe scaffolding at the Museum, when the board he was standing on gave way, and he fell to the ground, striking his head on the block of stone. He sustained an extensive fracture of the skull, and died shortly after his removal to the hospital.
