HAVELOCK, this day. Mr. Hutchinson's Masonic Hotel and James Smith's store and out-buildings were burned down last night. Brown 100 & Co,'a and Mills Bros.' stores, Fear's hotel and Kenemore had a narrow escape. The ■women worked well.

The insurances are:—Hutohinson's Hotel, in the National, £500; Transatlantic £350 ; James Smith's store, Victoria, £500; Union, £800.
