A BOATING PARTY CAPSIZED.
A bmali. open-sailing boat containing Dr. and Mrs Sanders, Mlsa Allen, and Meßsrs Street and Moore, capßlzed a short distance off shore at Sc George's Bay on Monday morning last between 11 and 12 o'clook. A young man named Arthur Moaro, who was also out sailing In the bay. observed the acoWent and went to thol* Mitotanee, speedily effeotlnr tho reieuo of Dr. Sanders and Miss Allen. The aooldent was also obwrved from the shore by Maßter Cyril Churton.who was BWimming a horse in tho wator, •ad he also started for the scene In a small Wax, which he borrowed from 5n adjacent Bhed. When he reached the boat which had eajwlrefl, he found Dr Bonders Miss Alton, and Mr Street clinging to ita keel, Mr Moore ■Wtomluft ashore, and Mra Banders in Rreat danger of drowning. On the punt coming up, Mr street caught hold of it with one hand, Pushed the capsizing boat with Dr Panders and Miss Allen bafore him, alongside Mr Munros boat, where they were taken oa board. Mr Btroet then got into the punt, and went with Master Churton to the assistance of Mra Sanders. It was not safe to take the way Into the punt, and thoy found it necessary to puU towards Munro's boat which was near by, Mr Stroet pulling, whilo his companlon kept Mra ganderb'B head above water. By this means tho whole of tha boating party were rescued, and, with the exception of Mrs Banders, proved little the worse for their Wetting. Tha«dady was quite insensible when taken on chore, but has elnce almost recovered.
