MAORI PRISONERS COMMITTED FOR TRIAL.
Fifty-nine of the Maori prisoners were charged at tho Court to-day uuder the Act last session. The prisoners were undefended, inspector Gudgoon laid the information, and Mr Ktandish, Crown Prosecutor, conducted the case. The prisoners were committed for trial at the District Court Criminal Sessions to be held at Now Plymouth on tho 23rd instant.
