Russian Assassination in Stamboul. LONDON.

CunrofF, one of the attaches to the Russiau Embassy recently wounded at Stamboul by the shots of an assassin, lias died of injuries received.
Another Arrest for breach of Privilege. LONDON.

Grissell, who was committed for breach of privilege of the House of Commons last year, has been re-arrested on the came charge.

The Emporcr of Germany dined to-day at the French Embassy's in tliis city. In course of conversion with the Ambassador, His Majesty expressed the most cordial feelings towards France. The attempt on Melikoff's Life. BT. PETERSBURG. March 3. General Mclikoif, who was recently appointed head of the Supreme Commissioner for the repression of disorder in this city, was fired at by Nihilists, but none of the shots took effect. One Niliilits has been arrested. LONDON. March 2. The steamship Norfolk has arrived from Melbourne. Nihilist Riots.—The Mob Fired on. ST. PETERSBURG. March 3. General MelikofF has been compelled to lire on the Nihilists, but the shots did not take cllect. One of the Nihilists has been arrested, LONDON. March 3. Five per cent. New Zealand Loan, 102, ex dividend ; four and a halt New Zealand Loan, OGi, ex dividend. Adelaide wheat quiet at 07s per 406'lbs, ex warehouse Tallow market steady, at last quotations. Tot il stock in London ou first inst. was 17,000 casks. Wool Sales. At the wool sales to-day 8,700 bales was offered, making v total of 134,300 offered since the opening. To-day's auction was iirm and bidding animated.
