Wreck of the Geelong.

' The p.s. Geelong is lost. She is a total wreck. Two natives are drowned.
The Gceloug was the property of Mr G. W. Binney, and was engaged in the timber businessjfrom Whaugape. She went ashore on the inner bank of the south-West entrance to Whangapo Heads.
The p.a. Geelong was insured tor the sum of £1,000 in the Batavia Insurance Company, who are, however, re-insured a own to £250.
