AUCKLAND COLLEGE AND GRAMMAR SCHOOL.
A meeting of the Board of Governors was hold at 3 o'clock this afternron. Present : Mr Justice Gillies (chairman), Messrs J. L. Campbell, O'ltorke, Murdoch, and Colonel Ilaultaiu. A discussion took place on the question of the Supremo Oouit site. _ A letter was read from Mr Macrae suggesting that a second English master be advertised for until Feb. 7th', and that Mr Tisdall be retained as assist nut master until the arrival of the French master. The recommendations were adopted. Mr O'Rorke brought under tho attention of the hoard the expediency of founding a boarding-school establishment, and suggested that £2,000 might be appropriatced tor the purpose. (Left Sitting.)
