The Montenegrin captured the forts at Antiora with large quantities of stores. * The Russians sustained reverse at Sbipka Pass. . The French Ministry has resigned.
(Special to ** Sydney Morning Hrrald.") PEACE EXPECTED ON FALL OF PLEVNA. SkobeiofPs position encircling Plevna has been contracted. Mehemet Ali is mustering at Sophia for the relief of Plevna. Osinaa Pasha has refused to surrender, saying be has not exhausted all bis means of defence. The Russians have immense provusions ready for the starving ganison of Plevna. Mehemet Ali is going to relieve Osman with 50,000 men. Fodder is abundant. Water and clothing are scarce. Peace is probable on tbe fall of Plevna.
