CITY OF LONDON G.M. Co. (LIMITED.)
Ax extraordinary general meeting of the shareholders in the above Company was held to-day, at the office of Mr if. N. Garland, the .secretary. Mr Warwick Weston occupied the chair, and there was a fair attendance of shareholders present in addition fco the proxies. On the motion or the Chninr.rtn, sec-jiuled by Yn- C. J.
Stone, it was resolved " Tliat the Directors be authorised to dispose of th« Company's mine and plant to the Queen of Beauty G.M. Company, and to carry into effect an amalgamation with the last-named Company, upon such terms and conditions as the Directors may agree upon." On the motion of the Chairman, seconded by Mr J. L. Wilson, it was resolved "That the City of London G.M. Company be wound up voluntarily, and that Mr H. N. Garland he appoiuted liquidator." The Chairman detailed the terms of the amalgamation, which have been already published, and stated that the directors hoped that Ihe call just made would liquidate all the dt h\ of th« Company.
