The s.s. Taranaki arrived at Onehun^n, this morning nt 10 o'clock. She experienced line weather all up the coast. Passengers: Mr and Mrs Wilkin, Mr and Mrs Cowan, Misses Watson, Joyce, Cook, Sharp. Messrs Levinston. Weston, Chapman, Pearson, Walshaw. Kelly, Yeoman. MeEachen, Goldsmith, McKo.skrey, Butler, Adams, Lang-ridge, Captain Clayton, and eight in the (steerage. The schooner Xoryal will discharge her cargo <->f nnnra into the ship Electra for shipment to London.
Kaipara shipping is not so brisk as it was a few months ago. The brigantine Seagull arrived from Auckland on Tuesday last. The barque Glimpse, loaded with timber for China, and the Ethel, loaded for the South, are both ready for sea. and are probabl3' at the Heads by this time. The schooner Loch Leo is still windbound at the Heads.
The brigantine Oceola is loading at Adelaide for this port. Her cargo is to consist of 130 tons of bark, 100 tons ot flour, and 1030 sacks of wheat.
The s.s. Pretty Jane arrivrd this morning from Gisborne. Passengers: Mr Wilson, Miss Walsh.
The s.s. Go-ahead har> had her boiler removed, and been towed over to the North Shore. She is to be surveyed to-morrow on Messrs Sims and Brown's slip. The s.s. Argyle arrived from Wangarei this morning at dawn. Passengers : Messrs Cootes. Bell, Boyd. Alright. Lewis. Cox, Captain Kynas. Rev. Mr Mcßae, Miss Cox, Miss McLean, and 4 others. Cargo: CO bags gum, 20 kegs butter, 2 tons sundries.
The schooner Albatross sailed for Napier to-day with the cargo of timber she brought from Whangapoua. The kctnh Wild Duck arrived in the Manukau this morning from Patea with a cargo of sheep.
The schooner Waiwera arrived last night from Noumea, via Norfolk Island, in ba'last. We have not space for the full report of the passage, kindly supplied us by Captain Burrell. but condense from it the following:—Left Auckland 30th May, and arrived at Noumea »t noon on the 9th June. Left on the 17th. Called at Norfolk Island on the 28th. Sailed again on the 29th and had a succession of heavy gales, chiefly from the southward, until making the Three Kings on the Lth inst. The schooner Colonist left Onehunga yesterday to load at the Mauukau Heads for Wellington.
The s.s. Jane Douglas left This day for Gisborne and Napier with a full gene-al cargo. Passengers: Messrs Williams and Gentle. The brigantino Enterprise arrived at Lyttelton. from Kaipara, via Wellington, on the Bth July. The Aspasia, which left Kaipara the same day as the Enterprise, had not arrived at Lytteltoh on the Sch. and some anxiety was felt about her, much hazy weather having been experienced in the meanwhile.
