MRBARFF AND HIS CONSTITUENTS.
Mr BariFs meeting was largely attended, and a unanimous vote of coniidence was given. He will support the Government measures, but is not satisfied with the Government's action in the Counties' bill, waste lands, gold duty, or new Police regulations. He is in favour of reforming the Legislative Council, of establishing School of Mines, consolidating gold fields, oivinf larger subsidies to hospitals, alteration of Licensing Act, and of the constitution of the Education Boards. He would support the continuance of the honorarium, expenditure on public works, election of Tercmakau bridge, and improvement in electoral registration.
