Albumin : 100 lbs of specimens were obtained last night. The manager says it is the richest he ever saw in the mine. The leader is looking very good. The winze is being sunk on the' run of gold in the Whau level. Another winze is being sunk on the big reef in the battery level, where good patches have been got, and operations are to be commenced on the reef in the Old Success level, where good crushing dirt was formerly obtained. The Piako crushing is looking' well.

Welcome. —The works are stopped. A large number forfeited shares ; they are to be sold by auction. Mr Seager's new iron steamer was successfully launched this morning. RED QUEEN CRUSHING. The Red Queen crushing gave 60-hozs. Heriville Caledonian tribute, 32 ozs.
