On the application of Mr Corcoran, of the Greyhound hotel, the Court regretted that sad complaints were laid against this house as notorious for Sunday trading.

Mr Corcoran expressed surprise at such a report, as his house was considered the best in New Zealand ; he believed it was a malicious report.

Mr Broham said that complaints were continually made about the Sunday trading carried on at the Greyhound. Mr Corcoran was a wealthy man, and his house was in good condition.
