More good finds arc reported among the hills.
The Carnatic (McEwcn's) is getting magnificent specimens. The claim is now looked upon as likely to rank among the best of the field.
Connor's claim, adjoining the Carnatic, is showing well to the front. Some good specimens have been got from it. £240 have been offered and refused for a full share. » Another claim below the Camatic is also getting good specimens. Snowden's (Prcece's Point) : Some splendid specimens have been obtained, and there is an anxious desire to get a share in it. More Union Beach Specimens. One hundred and fifty pounds of specimens were got yesterday between the time of the two shifts. About 3oolbs of good specimens are in hand.
