(Per Press Telegram Agency.) This day. The Rowena. The Rowena sailed last evening at six o'clock for Auckland. Passengers : Miss Crossby, Miss Clark, Miss Simpkins, Revd. Maunsell, Revd. Marks, Messrs Simpkins, McMath,Thomson, Hunter, Foley, Anderson Wrigley, Irvine, Wylie, Dr. Beske and others.
Church Music. The Times has an article on church music, and gives great praise to the choir at St Paul's, Auckland.
The Katikati special settlers are going out to their sections in good spirits. The weather is magnificent.
